Artist Statement
My paintings are contemporary & devotional. They depict religious subjects and are inspired by medieval Russian icons, Slavic folk icons & Romanesque frescoes. My works are available as original paintings, prints on wooden boards & prayer cards. They are displayed in Roman Catholic, Byzantine Rite Catholic, Episcopalian and Lutheran seminaries, churches, chapels and retreat centers throughout the Americas. They are in the collections of many bishops, priests, deacons, nuns & laity. Thousands of prayer cards made from my paintings have been donated to Prison Ministers from coast to coast. This is my main way of evangelizing with my art.
