About
I grew up in the grid patterns and open fields of the Midwest, then followed my beloved to the curving roads and wooded hills of Atlanta. My professional training was in social psychology, psychotherapy, and designing and leading experiences for personal growth and team building. After a few years of this city career, my partner and I moved to the woods of northeast Georgia. We needed to live closer to the true wild nature in ourselves, as well as all around us. Since my partner died in 2011, I continue to live and paint in the tiny cabin we built together. I need the woods around me, the sense of wildness, so I can paint from the Heart of the World.
