My approach is a readable and understandable narrative style, combining concepts of abstraction and realism, to become a conversation that endeavors to solicit the WOW factor. The invitation is to spend time to truly see the beauty in either familiar objects, which are superficially glanced at the speed of daily life, or to reconsider traditional images reflective of a contemporary thought and results to the new interpretations. The size of the canvases provide the space to enter the images inside of the frames while the deceptively simple images and use of color, moves the eyes throughout the painting to wander and explore more fully the dialogue of life more deeply. Human proportions provide unperceived correlated relationships between the reality of the two worlds that inspires understanding, empathy, and association. Finally, it is the visualization of these symbols from a woman’s point of view and the sharing the gifts that the Lord has given me that makes each painting a celebration and manifestation of the greatness of God.
