Artist Statement
I am drawn to create bronze sculptures for religious settings up to monumental sizes in both the round and high-relief. My artistic interests include realistic sculpture of historic figures, adults and children that represent everyday human behavior, and religious oriented sculpture that evokes in the viewer a realization of the spiritual aspect of humanity and the struggle between good and evil. From the influence of classical sculptors, my work reflects love of family, faith, and commitment to social justice issues.
