Artist Statement
Although I have long been interested in art, I am not a trained artist. I enjoy dabbling in various mediums, including photography. My younger son is a graduate of the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, IN, and I learned many interesting tidbits from him over the years he was a student. I have been honored to have pieces included in juried digital exhibitions of ECVA (Episcopal Church Visual Arts), in a juried exhibit with the theme of Risk at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN and in an open exhibit by women artists to honor Women’s History Month at the Indiana Interchurch Center in Indianapolis, IN. In addition to art, I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, knitting, writing haiku, listening to music, playing the organ and the Native American flute, and enjoying the company of my assorted cats.
